Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Nintendo Switch)

Animal Crossing: New Horizons was what I needed during this period of isolation. It’s an adorable way to spend my time, creating my island paradise from the comfort of my…well any room I want. With the convenience and portability of the Nintendo Switch, it’s great. So far, it seems like the game play is never ending. If you’re into environmental customization and adorable animals/creatures, this one just might be what you’re looking for. :3

Organic Matcha Powder

This organic matcha powder has been an amazing save during all this. Instead of spending money and risking the health and safety of my family, I make matcha lattes from home now. It’s super easy and I notice it’s a lot less sugar than what you’ll find in a Starbucks matcha latte.
This is what I’ve been doing:
2 tbsp matcha powder
1 tbsp white sugar
2 tbsp hot water
a splash of cream
Whip it until it’s all well mixed and then put into a glass of milk and ice to your taste. This amount is usually 2-3 lattes for me depending on how strong I want it at the time.

Harney & Sons: Earl Grey Supreme

Spooky mom and I have been all over this Earl Grey tea. I think I’ve brought it up before but I really, REALLY love it. I use it to make milk tea. I pour however much milk I need to fill my big mug (usually a lot extra) into a pot, and put it on the stove. Once it’s hot but not boiling, I put 2 sachets in with a little rock sugar and lightly boil/steep the tea in the milk for a few minutes. Then transfer to my mug and enjoy it. You’ll find me drinking this during the livestreams.

A Man & His Cat Vol. 1

This manga was a really good mood pick me up. The premise is adorable and hit me with so many feels. If you’re a cat lover or animal lover in general, you’ll enjoy this book. It’s cute and heartfelt–something I needed during this crazy period of isolation.
It’s about a kind older man who’s alone after his family has passed on. This cat has been in this pet shop window with everyone passing by thinking he’s too ugly too adopt. You learn about both their lives through each other’s perspective. This man comes in and changes this cat’s life and they both learn from each other and love each other and it is absolutely precious. It tugs at your heart strings in the purrrrfect way.

Benefit Cosmetics Matte Liquid Eyeliner

For the past few months I’ve had eyelash extensions which have fallen out since isolation started. Because of that, this liquid eyeliner has been a life saver when it comes to the makeup department. It’s some of the best liquid liner I’ve used and creates the perfect “wing”. I would definitely recommend it! 😀 ( I mean…I still wish I had eyelashes but this stuff is a must to make up for it. lol.)
